Chef Jeanne Raffetto Tentis: Jeanne Raffetto Tentis is a self-proclaimed "foodie" whose interest in cooking goes back to her roots. The Raffetto's were restaurateurs for three generations, she learned respect for good food and its preparation in the kitchen of her Italian grandmother. Her serious study of natural, organic & ethnic foods began 38 years ago in California and she considers her specialty to be "Global Eclectic Cooking". Since moving to Wisconsin 10 years ago, she has been a cooking instructor at MATC and began teaching at Bekah Kates in 2004. Her cooking philosophy is great ingredients, simple preparation, buy local and cook seasonal.
